The granddaughter’s second birthday present

I bought a cotton corduroy fabric last year in dark colours which makes it useful during the autumn and winter. I decided to make a dress and a pair of leggings. Both made in time for the birthday.

I used the same pattern I’ve used a couple of times before for both the dress and the leggings. This time I made ruffels at the back of the leggings. The ruffles are hemmed with a roll hem made on my overlocker and I used an embroidered thread to make it just a little more shine. The pattern used is the Lo leggings from Threads by Caroline.

The dress is made from the pattern Helsinki, Ikatee patterns and there is nothing particularly to say about it more then I really like it.
